Villain is basically an unknown, but seems passive based on his play thus far. My standard line is to give up on the turn and check behind, but I wanted to mix it up and maybe get him to fold a hand like 66 or 77. Do you guys fire this river or just check behind? Comments on all streets are appreciated.

i think turn is bad, because on the flop, he decided his hand was good (or he decided to chase his flush draw). the turn changed little

against unknown the turn is pretty weak, it's ok once in a while but against a passive player (guys tend never give you credit) will often call. I like a river bet, and usually would check behind and then bet this river.

Turn isn't good unless you know villain is good enough to toss hands like 66-88 on the turn. River is a nice spot to do a thin value bet. Against a regular, I like to bet river again.
