Re: NL100 - KK Post Flop Line Check
[ QUOTE ]
Can I really fold the river getting over 3.6-1. I know I don't beat much, but can I beat 22% of his hands he bets like this on the river? I think it is close, but I could be wrong. [/ QUOTE ] I meant to address this in my previous post. With villain playing 40% of hands, I feel like it's hard to determine his cold calling range - I mean [censored], ATC work... I just feel as though ANY draw got there (flush, straight, two pair). Notwithstanding the fact that it may or may not be the right play, I am of the opinion that my $25 is better served seeing more hands and finding myself in a better spot to be profitable. [ QUOTE ] the more I look at it, it really is a crying call. [/ QUOTE ] spot on, IMO. |

Re: NL100 - KK Post Flop Line Check
This is played very very well IMO. I would like it better if river is 5c instead of 7, but I don't think its that terrible of a card. He is betting a naked J here or making a weak bluff enough for you to call.

I'd bet the turn against this guy. As played I'd fold river. Everything got there (clubs, T8, lots of random two pairs). You don't beat much. [/ QUOTE ] This is pretty much what I think. The guy is prob going to call with lots of hands we are ahead of on the turn. I'd bet turn, and then hope for a pretty river. If I bet the turn and this river came, I think I'd c/f to a reasonable bet. As played the river is a really ugly spot as we're getting pretty good odds to call, but we're almost never ahead here unless he somehow slowplayed q,q or something. I think I find a fold here still though as donks almost never bet the river when a flush made it without two pair or better. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'd bet something like 17-18 or so as it doesn't look week, but it's also enough to make it wrong for him to call on a draw. If he raised the turn it would be a really easy fold. |

Re: NL100 - KK Post Flop Line Check
Would betting the turn for about 1/2 to 3/4 pot usually be standard with so many draws possible? How bad would betting full pot be on the turn?
This would be useful info for the micro stakes I play. |

[/ QUOTE ] IMO 1/2 seems very weak, it looks weaker than checking to me. 2/3 to 3/4 looks alot better to me. Betting the full pot should fold out all hands you are ahead of, which you don't really want to do. You want them to come along, but you want to bet enough that it is a mistake for them to call, and I don't think any hands we beat call a pot sized bet |
