Re: 50NL - AJo river decision
Bet/fold turn. No King called this flop. Er, well, it's not likely. Except KJ.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] why didnt you bet the turn [/ QUOTE ] 2 handed def fire turn, 3 handed? meh maybe im a nit??...but i def dont hate it [/ QUOTE ]i pretty much hate it for this EXACT reason. bet folding the turn is good. they call with any J and all those draws as well. then we dont get in weird river spots like this nearly as much [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 50NL - AJo river decision
I'd also bet the turn. Flopped flush draws, backdoor flush draws, worse J's, worse pairs, there's a bunch of hands that will call the turn. There's not so many hands that will c/r you, and your hand isn't strong enough to face a c/r, either, so its an easy fold if that happens. I like to control the pot on the turn as much as anyone, but I bet this turn because we'll have trouble getting value on the river and its easier to decide what to do if faced with aggression on the turn.

Re: 50NL - AJo river decision
I'd rather bet/fold the turn. Gets value and protection when we're ahead (which is fairly often) and usually makes the river much easier to play.
