I think this is okay. The only thing I worry about really is if he flopped the flush, which is a real possiblity.

dependant a lot on his bluff frequency and how often he likes to float etc.

I think if he's the type to float you in position a lot of the time I'd check/call turn and either donk river or check/call again.

As played this looks good, maybe slightly less on turn.

I think this is a way ahead/way behind situation. I play this exactly the same despite the fact that his river bet looks UBER WEAK. Raising for value on river is bad imo.
