Villain in this hand is 91/55/2 over the last few orbits. I could use a line check on this hand in general. I didn't want to raise the turn and scare him out as I knew he would bet again on the river with just about any 2. Should I raise turn? what about river considering KT, JT, and flush are very much in his range. How much should I raise? |

Easy turn raise. As played I shove the river.

Raise turn to $30.
As played, probably just shove since he only has $58 left. |

You just have to make a read here for pushing vs. calling. Is he likely to stack off with a worse hand than yours? Cause there's a bunch of stuff here that beats you.

Alright, thanks for the input all, I feel like I should've raised the turn in retrospect.
Results: I raise to 35, Villain folds. |

[ QUOTE ]
I didn't want to raise the turn and scare him out as I knew he would bet again on the river with just about any 2. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think this is good enough reason to not raise the turn. You get another 15 or whatever retarded amount he bets when he doesn't have anything, but he could definitely call the turn raise with a spade draw, a straight draw and a pair, and other garbage. There is huge value in a raise IMO. Make it a small one like to 22-30. |
