Phil should just pack it in for this tournament. It's obvious the wrist is bothering him. Why risk the rest of your season for an event you have no chance of winning unless you play your absolute best.

I don't know how many more times he can play a shot out of the rough one handed before he hurts the other wrist.

my ligga,

Those ratings are out to lunch. Mickelson was all but written off before the start of the tournament with the wrist thing, and even though he's like #4 worldwide Adam Scott is rated way too highly IMO, as is Els.

Furyk should move clear up to or above Vijay, only below Tiger.

Watching the replay right now. Tiger is effing huge. I'm not sure how much more muscle he can put on without negatively affecting his swing.

My friend told me a player hit a wild shot today that ended up in a hole on the putting green. Any idea if this is true and if so what the ruling would be?

Yeah, they showed it. The putting green is "attached" to the ninth green. I'm not sure how they ruled, I guess he just placed it by the hole and putted it to the real hole.

it wasn't really a wild shot actually...the guy just hit it in the middle of a green, you know for the standard less risky shot...then it just rolled into the cup. it was kind of hilarious, i guess the cup was there for maintenance, ground under repair?

I came under this impression too..I think he's more tone...but somehow he got ridiculously more jacked in 2 weeks. I don't think he looked like this at the Memorial. He knows what he's doing when he lifts, he's also extremely flexible. He also probably started going ape [censored] on the weights just for this rough.
