simple flop spot vs. short stack
On the flop, he has 75 left and there is 34 in the pot. I don't know the guy. Is the usual plan here to bet-call? Bet-fold? Check and do something?

checking is much better than betting, as it is with Ax as well. betting never gets called by worse. checking induces bets from shortstacks

c/f, you're hoping for an undepair, worse Queen or draw. You've only put in $14, putting in $75 more versus his range is pissing chips away.

I C/F this flop w/o any special reads on the short stack. Besides I might even consider to fold pre if the short stack is playing annoying (i.e. calling much and not giving up on flop frequently in positon).
