[ QUOTE ]

One of my reasons for creating this thread was to cause FTP so much pain that they would decide to talk to me. If I can’t speak to FTP I have no chance to get my money back or of clearing my name without going through an expensive legal process. I think my strategy is reasonable.

[/ QUOTE ]

For me, one of the most damning pieces of evidence in this whole situation is your reaction.

People who unfairly lose 70k don't 'think their strategy is reasonable'. People who unfairly lose 70k would go apesh.it and call Full Tilt thieving b.astards. People who unfairly lose 70k don't end their e-mail responses with cliches about 'bank robbers not trusting the banks they just robbed.'

Do you get my point? In case you didn't....

People who unfairly lose 70k don't make half-hearted irrational arguments - they threaten legal action and dare Full Tilt to fight back.

Your e-mail exchange with Full Tilt doesn't attempt to address any of the issues that might have been flagged by Full Tilt as suspicious. Instead, you make the spurious argument that 'you can play the same game in person.' Your live play is not at issue here, as you well know.

It's clear from your reaction that you know you got caught... and I think this should be obvious to anyone who reads the first e-mail exchange you posted.

After reading this I am withdrawing all of my funds from FT and taking my business elsewhere.

To simply think you can take 70 grand from someone without any kind of detailed explanation is absurd.

OP, I would advise contacting the attorney general in your state and tell them that an online gambling site has stolen 70 grand from you. Don't go into details.

Now your next hurdle is finding out who operates full tilt poker. They have their domain information hidden as they used domains by proxy. HOWEVER, all the fbi has to do is trace a cashout check back to the processor and then back to the company itself. I will be requesting a check from FT. When I get it, I will share the details of the payment processor to better help you. If anyone has this information please post it here.

DO NOT GIVE UP.

[/ QUOTE ]

If this guy has been unfairly treated, I agree that he shouldn't give up. However, his reaction does not fit a seizure of that magnitude.

Do you think if a Vegas casino thought you were cheating they would let you walk out and say thanks, please don't come back, thanks so much?

Your chips would be siezed and your tapes sent to Nevada Gaming Commission. Theonly differrence here is that there is no governing body to do the investigations.

Haha, my bad, I did just see the film cans. I'd never seen that icon on 2+2 before, glanced right over the name and assumed it was same person.

Clearly theres a lot more recourse when your innocent, Teddy's Mom got cleared or am I mistaken?

[/ QUOTE ]

There was no easily-available 'recourse'. The only reason the issue got re-examined and ultimately escalated to the highest possible echelon of review by Stars was because of the massive stink her son (me) made about it on these forums.

Don't forget that she was completely stone-walled by Stars security when she sent email after email (probably 8 in total), only to hear back "sorry, our decision is final, take your play somewhere else".

I haven't read the last 100 or so posts in this thread, but I support *some* sort of habeus corpus, even for accused botters, especially when they're going to seize $70K in funds.

That word doesn't mean what you think it means - you are looking for "due process"

Habeas is to get your body (corpus) out of jail.
