(12) bubble push with KQ, small stack in BB next hand
I have to ask, the big stack was min raising every hand and the SB just doubled up off him with AK, he called with 22. Half the other small stack is in the next hand, I hate these spots.

Re: (12) bubble push with KQ, small stack in BB next hand
SNGWiz comes up with a fold, unless you expect the SB and BB to call with less than 20%. Given your read on the BB, you can expect him to call more and so it looks like a fold.

This must be a +$EV push, dont let the other smallstack fool you into folding. This is the best position you will find a while.

Are you guys in favour of pushing expecting the blinds to call less than 20% than? Or is this a situation that needs thinking beyond pure ICM?

[/ QUOTE ] Youre right I just checked. It surprise me quite a bit as I would have pushed 100% of the time in this situation. Here it seems that you need a v. strong hand to push. Note that it is a push if we reverse hero and UTG's stacks. |

craziness, this is a time where i would usually push automatically as well. i guess the equally small stack is more of an issue than i would have considered. thanks guys, leak fixed.
