Re: If Barak wins the Nomination...Hilary as VP?
I don't know who WILL be on it. It is too early.
But I know who WON'T be on it. Daschle got run out of the Senate by the voters, is from a worthless electoral vote state, and has next to zero charisma. Neither Obama or Hillary need his fund-raising lists, since both are smashing all money raising records now. Clark ran one of the worst campaigns in the history of Presidential politics, and has never been elected to anything. Nobody is going to take a chance on him running another awful campaign. Hillary (assuming she is not the nominee)is the most polarizing person running. If she loses the nomination in the primaries, why would Obama reach back and add someone that 50% of the American people say they would NEVER vote for. Obama will pick a fresh face, not an old, tired one. |

Bush winning in 2000 was majorly helped by his choice for VP...and Cheney certainly was not a fresh face. Obama has an even greater problem than Bush in thoe same areas...lack of expierence/knowledge/policy/blah blah blah |

He will of course have to have a runningmate with some gravitas. But there are Governors and others in politics who could provide that for him. Richardson has a great resume (padded, but great) and he is actually running for VP, truth be told. Even though he has been around a long time, he is a fresh face to almost all of America. There are others. |

Re: If Barak wins the Nomination...Hilary as VP?
Obama doesn't need Daschles fund raising lists? Very interesting, according to reports that is exactly how Obama got started with his fund raising base.
Putting this aside, your thinking in general seems out of whack. Look at the people who have been nominated recently... Edwards Cheney Liberman Kemp Quayle Gore |
