yeah i shove here, too often he shows up with smaller overpair
esp. when board pairs 6, now he can only really have set of 8s or 3s, so the 6 is actually a pretty good card for you imo

[/ QUOTE ]

i think the 6 is a pretty terrible card for me. bad players are more likely to call a pfr and on the flop with a hand like 76s in utg+1 than good players are, so there's a bigger chance than usual that he made trips.

if the stacks were shallower compared to the pot then i could easily read it as "i'm not going to fold my 8, so i might as well push" but for a bigger than psb i think it's not going to be a hand like that too often.

and come on, how often does anyone call flop and push raise turn with a draw? not that often. somebody (baluga?) named a theorem after himself saying basically that.

i guess it's obvious from my post, but i folded.

I find that people tend to defend these bets rigoursly sometimes, similar to a strattle in a live game. Just an observation implying that it's possible villian has the six more than we would think.

Obviously call and re-evaluate river. Fold if an ace hit.

Your avatar and demeanor is giving me a head ache. Are you the trolling police? Seriously a lot of your posts are you telling random posters to stop trolling. Why dont you relax, change your avatar, and stop tilting me.

This is a standard call for me, he posted in MP, people bluff, people love to bluff especially when they post. Enough said...call.

The last two posts this guy has made have been sarcastic in nature in strategy threads where everyone else is interested in discussing the hand. Also, stop being racist.

he has a 6 a lot, sure. but since this guy just posted in MP, and just called a raise his first hand, he has given you no reason to suspect he's not a donkey.

for all you know he was slowplaying his J8 on the flop.
