Mr Freakanomics speaks on his blog
Damm. He even writes about it on his blog. http://www.freakonomics.com.
OT: his blog is generally pretty intersting. Agree that Fuller isn't a bad player, but he definitely made a bad play and was very very lucky to survive. It's for the $2,500 NL Shootout. Can't wait for all the annoying chatter to start about Lindgren's chances at his first bracelet. Lucky for him, no distractions today (ie no big sporting events) |

OK that makes much more sense, the float in position is reasonable I guess, turn 3 bet seems a bit much.

Re: Mr Freakanomics speaks on his blog
"I needed to win one more table to make it to the final table, which would provide me bragging rights for life. I was lucky to have lunch with Phil Gordon, probably the best poker teacher in the world. He explained something to me over lunch that is fundamental to good poker, and probably somewhat obvious, but I had never understood it. (It’s too valuable an insight to give away for free over the blog; you’ll have to buy one of his books.)"

I live my life by a simple philosophy: "No Limits." A "No Limits" life is built on six fundamentals: aggression, patience, courage, resiliency, observation, and an intense desire to improve. Re: Mr Freakanomics speaks on his blog
that hand is not reported accurately at all. I talked to fuller about this hand. He bet 7200 on flop and i think was called. Turn he bet 18k, other guy raised to 38k, and he pushed for like 50k more. The other guy thought for a bit and decided to call.
