Games similar to Blood Bowl for PC/Online

After not being able to play the online conversion of Blood Bowl at the huge (but poorly run) community at http://fumbbl.com for a while I am looking for ways to quench my thirst.

Anyone have any tips?

I can't stand to play that PC version of Blood Bowl that was released in the mid 90s. I do, however, remember a game released a few years later that sort of resembled it. But it was more futuristic, with aliens and stuff, anyone know what game I'm talking about?

Also, any other ways to play Blood Bowl online would be greatly appreciated. Also, anyone hear anything about a Mordheim, Warhammer Quest, or any other GW game being playable online, I'd appreciate it.

ianlippert, wow that looks like it take some getting used to, thanks though.
The games are played via irc? How long do they take?
How does the site keep track of skill rolls and injuries, spps etc?

All: Nobody has heard of that futuristic PC game I was talking about? Think it was single player. I'd really like to find that game again.
