Barack? And no she wont be his VP. Id say theres a 90 Percent chance it will be Tom Daschle and after that
maybe Mark Warner, Wesley Clark or Mike Easley.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where did you hear it would be Tom Daschle? 90 percent is an awful lot of confidence.

[/ QUOTE ]

Daschle would release his deep fund raising lists, Organization and close staffers to only Obama. Daschle has been Obamas biggest supporter thus far and has been promoting him non stop. Its all guessing and speculation, but i have to assume thats for the VP slot. I cant really see Daschle filling any top Cabinet post, but i could be wrong.

Obama would be foolish to put Hillary on the ticket. Her negatives are so high it would be a complete distraction for the campaign. Besides, if Obama beats Hillary, won't it likely be because of Hillary's polarization factor ? Why regurgitate that ?

Powell has indeed consulted with Obama, but stated that he would not run for any office. Obama won't put him on the ticket....I think the immediate reaction from most of the country would be that the ticket is upside-down. And 2 blacks on the ticket ? Risky, even though Powell is greatly respected across the country.
As for Wes Clark....geeeezzzzz.....never gonna happen. Never. Not on anybody's ticket. I mean, if you were going to play in a poker team match, would you pick a bustout railbird as your partner ?

I really like Powell a lot, he seems honest as [censored] as well as an excellent realist military leader.

So your saying that some people would vote for a ticket that had one black guy but not a ticket with two black guys?

None of the names mentioned in this thread have even a remote chance of being on an Obama ticket.
Hillary, Clark, Daschle....all are DOA for an Obama ticket.
This is nutso stuff. Try to stay current with the 2007 political scene.
