Default NL10 QQ preflop against tag

UTG was 14/9/7 through 200+ hands.

One of the tightest players I have ever seen, I knew he was set mining and playing high pairs only. Fold to 4-bet? Shove? Call?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.02/$0.05 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $8.13

UTG: $14.80
CO: $1.60
BTN: $9.87

Don't shove. You got a lot of information with your reraise. I would fold. You don't want to do battle with a nit like this, trust me, I am one :-) Wait for better opportunities against this fellow.

Hi,

I would put him on AA or KK and fold here. If there is any reason, why you put him on a lower pair a shove is the only option IMO. If you put him on AKs - and have seen him making moves like this before, you have to decide if you want to put in your whole stack for a CF - I wouldn`t.

Yup, played against him, a couple of times. The guy has Bond's image if I remember correctly. I have him at 22/15 over 160 hands in my database, seems pretty solid whenever I have played against him.

However, I folded Qs yesterday and was told I dont like money in the thread.

[/ QUOTE ]That's him. I was tracking him on two tables and through ~140 hands he was 9/4/infinity. The moral of the story is if he 4-bets preflop and you do not have Aces, fold.

I think folding was the way to go. Just wait for a better spot. It will come, but only if you still have your money.
