OP.. start playing more hands.. nothing is more satisfying going spazzy sometimes and getting a rediculous amount of action on a huge hand just after you scoop a pot with 86o

After watching some of Schneids videos, I'm for sure going to rethink the way I create my image. I'll post back on how it goes after a trip to Vegas this week...

yeah, but schneids can read souls

lol he does a lot of stuff I've done, but I do it at the wrong time. He blew me away in that video with some really subtle "I know that you know that I know" stuff. Or situations where he uses one hand to set up the way he plays a hand 20 minutes later. Anyway I was inspired, and I'm much more enthusiastic about improving my hand reading skills.

Hmm...thats weird...it always works for me in Borg 40-80/80-160.

I'm sure the players are typically more observant in the 40/80 and 80/160 games. However, most of the 20/40 players are there to gamble, at least during peak-weekend times.

If they're adjusting correctly by assuming you zig, start zagging.

yup. Although the video is pretty funny in that he hits some pretty crazy hands. I know when I raise middle pair holding 85o I'm not filling up by the river, lol.

I am sure I was in that game a year ago. I think I have gotten better but I am only comparing myself to those around me.

As far as finding another game, there isn't one. That is the biggest limit game within an hour radius. I go to Bay 101 from time to time to change it up but that is a 5hr trip one way so it is a weekend thing. I would go to Vegas but that is 8 hrs one way. I should have a chance to go sometime this summer.

You should start easy, by maybe expanding your raising requirements. And steal antes at every opportunity. Eventually, you will run into a bunch of loose calls and 3-bets because no one will take you too seriously.

There are also plenty of good plays that look bad, like raising 3 betting with a fd and overs. Turn on the heat and become hyper-aggro, make it clear that every pot you are in will become huge and worth playing for and that you will bet with less than the nuts.
