I'm playing 35,38,40 along with a bellagio and venetian tourney if I run bad and dont make day 2 or day 3..I'm then coming back a week later for the ME that I won a seat into..In addressing the above, 38 and 40 will both be softer than 35..for the reasons mentioned above..

OTOH, I plan on playing #35 'cuz the wifey is flying out on Friday & I'd rather take my shot before she arrives. So fear not, there will be SOME dead money in 35.

Seriously, anyone care to guess how much larger the Saturday field might be?

Not much to go on, but event #3 (also a $1500 NLHE event with a Saturday start) was just shy of 3,000 entrants. The closest comparison to #35 would be either event #10 ($2000 NLHE) and #12 (1500 6-handed NLHE) which had Wednesday and Thursday start dates and roughly 1,500 entrants apiece. That might be a good indication.

Has this proven to be faulty?

I'm betting no less than 2K show up for #38. I'll be there to take advantage, hopefully.

im planning some combination of 35, 38 and if I bust from 35 early playing the $540 DSII and if desperate the $100 Binions Classic. There is a possibility of playing only 38 and not 35 though.

While Im at it...im staying at the Gold Coast from the 20th through the 25th. Anyhone want to share room cost? I got two beds. and a floor if you want to split 3 ways.

Hi guys...my buddy and I are coming in for Event#38. Staying at Caesars. I'd expect we get a field Around 2700-2800 for the saturday event...figured about 300 "would-be" players will be waiting for the horse event instead. So unfortunately, I won't be going over the top all in against hellmuth for all his chips. I did that to the magician last year and he busted me with his AK!!!

Anyhow, aside from poker, can any of you recommend some cool places to have some drinks and meet some women who want that "stays in vegas" experience?? There will be 4 of us in total looking for some extracurricular fun while we gamble and drink that weekend :=)
