Default Re: Internet connection problem

it could be a massive variety of things, depending upon the type of internet connection you have.

Here's an arbitrary selection of things:

1) Dial up
-line noise, storms, plug interference, automatic ISP disconnection

2) DSL
-line noise, unfiltered streams on the line, storms, plug interference, power cuts

3) Wireless
-weather, movement of other devices, electro magnetic radiation, transmitter changes

Default Re: Internet connection problem

My DSL modem just crapped out, symptoms were similar until it bit the dust for good.

Note: had I Googletarded what to do, i.e. just buy a new one, I could have saved myself cost of a tech visit and new modem from Yahoo/ATT. Bastards. I thought it was a line problem...
