This is hurting my brain more than expected upon first glance at the thread title.

Do the math on this if SB folds and BB shoves.

A shove here is probably the most unexpliotable if calling ranges of other 2 stacks are not loose. You could also limp and get it in if SB commits to the pot.

i think i'll take my chances with KK to increase my stack sz at this point, even if it risk me bubbling. play for 1st, not 3rd.

I like a limp if BB is very aggressive preflop
Without a solid read, I push to avoid tricky situations on the flop.

In these situations, I'm the nitty player that does a miniraise and prays to get no reaction except for the small stack.
Didn't see this among the current answers, but would it be a bad thing to do?

Ow, just realize my previous post doesn't make much sense. I only make it worse when small stack folds and SB has an easy shove position.
Excuse me for really being a nit. :-)

Pushing is going to be +EV vs reasonable calling ranges and there is nothing wrong with taking a +EV shove. I get something like +.4% ($1.81). And yes, I gave the sb a couple of extra chips so I could use sngpt.

Don't know how to caluclate, but I would guess limping would be more +EV. Then the sb will call and if BB pushes getting all-in 3-way with shorty is a much better situation than getting all-in vs BB (or button) with shorty on the sideline.
