Re: If you were to do College again...
Not have a long distance relationship for the entire freshman year...probably the largest mistake I've made in life.

- ditch HS GF ASAP - Don't have a GF [/ QUOTE ] I can't stress these enough. Seriously, no GF at all or just have a few that last a few months or whatever. Whatever you do, don't do what I did: keep the same GF (and remain faithful) the entire 4 years. Worst mistake of my life. |

Bang the girls I passed up banging (there were many, actually).
[censored] graduate school. Other than that, everything that I did in college, I'd do again...I actually did pretty well on taking advantage of the time. |

Re: If you were to do College again...
go to a big state university. They usually have lots of funding for good academics, as well as tons of drunks. Best of both worlds without being a total ivy or dropout. Not that there's anything wrong with either or those, but best of both worlds will be found at a big research oriented state university.
Econ ftw. But don't feel pressure to choose a major right away. Take lots of interesting classes you don't necessarily have to. You might discover something abot yourself. Party Party again ... PROFIT Get involved in at least one way. It's rewarding. Frat/No Frat depends on the school. It's impossible to really give you advice. Some schools have like 75% Greek, and you pretty much have to be greek to have a social life. Other schools are like 20%, and you are pretty much paying for friends. DORM MADNESS - I met so many amazing people in my dorm. It's an experience in an of itself, you are of age anyway, so you can go get drunk anywhere you want. Living in a dorm is HUGE +++++++ Life EV. |

All frats are different, if you're lucky, you'll fall in with one and be friends with those guys 4eva. Just don't accept the bid unless you have a good feeling. Trust your instincts. I had a great time with my frat in college. But Danny told me they made him elephant walk when he pledged so frats do change from time to time. |

Re: If you were to do College again...
BBV4L I need advice:
I'm going to be a junior next year. My first year and a half or so I was awkward as hell around people and really didn't make too many friends, at all. I finally found a group of people to hang out with last semester but they aren't really the types to get out and party very much. What's the easiest way to more friends that are more willing to get out and have fun (note that I'm obv not ditching my current friends, honestly they're a lot more like me but I do want to meet a different group of people)? fwiw I'll turn 21 during winter break, but will probably be on probation until then because I actually got caught being drunk and under 21 in public (life note: drinking+depression = bad idea if you go out by yourself). |
