Re: Another etiquette question
[ QUOTE ]
I never would've guessed Nolan's such a control freak... -Al [/ QUOTE ] Hahaha. Most of the time I don't care. Sometimes though, there's a rhyme and a reason. Good example - my wife and I take some other couples to a baseball game. In those scenarios I like to somewhat try to control who I have to sit next to for 9 innings. I think that's reasonable. When people sit wherever, I would never actually say anything, don't get me wrong. But I can see why people would come up with a seating order. |

Boris: All four seats fair game. As someone mentioned, it's just like going to the movies.
nolan: Wow, I'm surprised! |

Re: Another etiquette question
I'm sure people have encounter this type of situation: You walk into a birthday dinner a little late and find that the only seats left are next to that stupid couple that does nothing but talk to each other all night about blah blah stuff and your friend's lame friend that has no social skills. I hate that.
It's not that big of a deal, but it's still nice to sit next to at least one person you know, unless most people are friendly/sociable. It's tough to spot these situations early enough and jockey for position correctly. Asking to switch seats is pretty lame, too. |

Re: Another etiquette question
This guy is your friend right?
If I got to my seat before my friend I would sit next to the whale as a favor knowing that he would do the same for me if and when he got he opportunity. |
