whats wrong with circus circus?

Rooms are dirty, no amenities and the rooms tend to be very loud and noisy with families and street traffic. And kids everywhere. That's what's wrong....unless you like that kind of thing.

It's not bad, but the elevators suck. I hear barbary coast has cheap rooms as well....but it's the other way. I like the casino royale. It even has a mini fridge

i heard tons of complaints about the elevators at the IP, but only had to really wait when we checked in. everyone else staying there was too dumb to notice that behind the set of 4 elevators were 2 extra elevators, we named them the VIP elevators. NEVER had to wait.

and i cant imagine rooms at the casino royale, that place is F'in TERRIBLE

We spent the first night at Caesar's. While the room was unbelievable, the thought of paying $250/night compared to $60/night made me a little ill. I'd rather spend my money on poker! Good thing the company paid for the C room

I enjoyed the IP, and I'm a woman. Yes, we had a room over Harrah's, which was really loud 'til late, but we were usually out playing poker. The room was clean and just fine with me.

Never had a problem with the elevators, and the "VIP" elevators were a great find.

I liked the dealers at IP because they were so friendly. Never had a major mistake and not too slow.

The price and location can't be beat. But we might try Flamingo next trip if the rate is cheap enough.

I like IP.

Players are awful. Great place to play 1/2 NL. Most players seem to buy in for $100.

Location is right next to a bar - quick drink service.

You can get drunk and still play well enough against the players there. You don't have to be very good to win there.

very true, but the going to the bathroom is a hike-either on the other side of the casino or up to the 3rd floor. it was a huge pain in the ass

IP just moved the poker room. I walked through IP two days ago and saw the signs claiming the room had moved deeper inside; it's no longer right by the entrance with, effectively, its own private bar. But I didn't go back and look to see where it moved to.

IP is awesome!

I stayed there last year and will be there again July 4-9. It's right in the middle of the strip and after playing cards at the Bell. or Wynn you can stop by Casino Royale for drunken $2 craps and then play super wasted poker at the IP before heading to bed. <3 <3 <3

The rumors about the elevators are true though. Try to stay near the top or bottom floors as if you're in the middle every elevator that stops for you is gonna already be packed.

Played and stayed at IP last summer. Clean room. Games were unbelievably soft. Dealers for the most part were fine. One kept trying to skip my action when the 65+ year old brain dead guy kept checking before I had a chance to act, but otherwise no problems.

Their "dealertainer" blackjack pit was... interesting to say the least. Celebrity impersonators take turns performing on stage and then deal. Honestly, it wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. Couple of them were actually pretty good singers. I did, however, get a laugh from Stevie Wonder dealing blackjack.

The elevators are as bad as advertised.
