Default Jerky slow graphics

I am using the new betfair poker software which by all accounts is quite system intensive but I have a 3.2Ghz P4 with 1Gb of RAM and a 128Mb graphics card and it has been ok for 6 tabling.

However I tried to overlay GT+ at the weekend with poker tracker running as well and this caused the frame rate to drop dramatically.

So I am thinking of upgrading my system and I am looking for some advice. Firstly is there one part of the machine likely to be a bottleneck or am I best off upgrading everything and secondly if I do upgrade everything is there some part of it I should consider spending more on given I basically use it just to play poker.

Thanks.

You should examine what programs you have running in the background before spending any money. Your system should be able to handle 6-tabling.
