But I do not know the strategy adjustments for this fascinating game.

Guess I'll have to wait for 7-2 Bounty For Advanced Players.

10-20; raise to 80, reraise to 300. first raiser then makes it 1k straight. reraiser says, "damn, i was just trying to win the bounty," shows 72 and folds. first raiser goes, "that's what i thought you had," and shows J4o.

In this years HSP the ol 72 game cost me around 35k. I got off cheap though, some others lost a lot more. What was really odd was that the bounty was such a small amount relative to the Blinds/antes. The bounty was 500 a person and the game was 300-600 with a 100 ante. I am not sure if the cameras made people play a little differently (you look especially nitty if you don't open with 72 when the bounty is on) or if it was just machismo but it made for some interesting poker.

details of this are hazy...but playing 50-100 at bellagio during 5 diamond with deuce-seven bounty...andrew black raises preflop to 400 and kenny (?) tran calls...flop 2 5 7...kenny checks, andrew bets 1k and kenny calls...turn 9...kenny leads for 2500, black raises, tran all in for 12k more, black instacall...tran flips over 99, black looks disgusted with his 72...

Just to give you an idea how low the 500 per man the HSP 72 game bounty was. We were playing 100-200 the other night at the Venetian and the bounty was 500 there as well.
