I would get it in. I doubt he would play this aggressively on the flop with JJ/88/J8, and its pretty unlikely that he bet the flop with 44 or 66.

Against an unknown I'm raising the flop. You're a fav vs tp without an A kicker. I kick it up to 500 on the flop. That's a weak ass bet. Raise that [censored] up. A monster checks/raises trips or a full house at this level.

Re: PS 6 + .5 - AKs catches flush on turn, but board is paired
If i may ask a question here. I often have a problem with playing this kind of hands. On the flop, should Hero shove with flush draw? Or is it better to raise on flop and then see what turn brings? What if turn doesn't bring anything that would improve our hand?
Tnx. Br, darks |

If villain bets into me and is a regular heads up I think I'm up agianst an over pair or a boat. This is early shoving doesn't seem right given how deep we are. In this situation I raise on the flop with 2 overs and the nut fd vs an unknown. Simply because most unknowns at this level suck and think they check minraise big hands and make small feeler bets with weak hands in which case hero is a fav vs a weak hand on this board most of the time. |

I would probably raise the turn but I like your play. Nh.

Unfortunately, it has a sad ending - he had pocket 6's. Oh well - no way I could see that coming.
Thanks for the commentary all. |

I would get it all in here too. And when I see his 66 on the showdown, I yell "you [censored] donk, how could you [censored] play along with only a [censored] pair of sixes! I bet your mother [really really censored]."
In a more serene and long term vision I'm happy these fish plays exist. It's what makes us profit after all. |

fortunately , it has a happy ending - he had pocket 6's and this proves how much monies are to be made playing against these types of opponents. [/ QUOTE ] [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Oh and to the last poster, don't tap the glass by yelling [censored] at the fish. We don't want them to see the error of their ways. |
