Your turn check looks like a whiffed AK.

KK/AA probably 4-bets pre OR C/R's the flop. I think you get shown 99-JJ here often enough to make calling good here.

i would think turn check is standard against this type of villain.

My problem is i think 99 to JJ value bet if they really think i wiffed on AK.

A 17/15's UTG range is probably something like all pairs and the better broadways. I'm not really worried at all about a 7 because a)he isn't opening any hand w/ a 7 UTG often and b)even if he did decide to open up a little...he probably isn't calling a 3-bet. That pretty much leaves 22/44/88+...and 22/44 is stretching it if he's solid. You guys are a little deeper though, so I guess 22/44 is certainly possible. Like I said earlier, I think KK/AA usually 4-bets pre; however, if he is trying to get tricky...he probably C/R the flop. So it's either 22/44/99-JJ. To be honest, the river shove does worry me a little bit. Kinda looks like he missed his turn C/R and just said "f#!k it I'm shoving...you can call if you want".

Tough spot. I'll be interested to see results if you did call.

set, slow-played AA/KK, 67s 87s, etc here are much more common than a "value push" from a hand you beat. it's also very unlikely that he's bluffing. fold and feel good about it, but make a note of his play for future reference.

I don't think a 17/15 is opening 67s/78s UTG...and they are almost certainly not calling a 3-bet. AA/KK is much more likely...but I think we see more aggression somewhere whether it be PF or the flop. I just don't see a 17/15/4 playing KK+ THAT slow very often.

If we're beat here...IMO it's almost always 22/44/77(which seems more and more likely the longer I think about it).

Turn check is fine. As played, fold river.

Villain probably has a hand QQ+ or possibly set/quad.
