Default NL25 QQ v Probable Overpair

I'm at work at the minute so this is from memory from a hand earlier today.

Not many hands on villian, he seems ok, TAGish, nothing stupid so far.
I'm playing fairly tight I've not been my usual sLAGy self the table probably sees me as a typical NL25 TAG.

Effective stacks ~$25 I have villain covered.

Pokerstars
NL25

Hero raises to $1 from EP, RR from villain in MP to $2.75 blinds fold, I call.

<font color="red">After his RR i put him on AK or more likely a big pair TT+</font>

10 x x rainbow (pot ~$5.50)

Hero checks, villain bets $3, Hero calls

<font color="red">I check to let him cbet AK which i don't think he floats with here. The only hands I want him to have are JJ or AK</font>

10 x x 9 (pot ~$11)

Hero checks, Villains bets $5, Hero calls.

<font color="red">Here I think I should have laid it down.</font>

10 x x 9 x (rainbow) (~$21)

Hero bets $7, Villain calls

<font color="red">As Played do you like the blocking bet? </font>

Comments on all streets please.

pre:if that is your range then you need to fold the flop.

flop:your vocabulary is way off. floating does not mean checking behind. also, if you only beat KK and JJ then do not call?

turn:now his bet is too small to lay it down.

river:nice block

I meant if I bet AK folds it won't float.
Folding the flop just seemed weak, maybe it would have been better.

I can't imagine folding the flop here. Just way too weak. Barring some specific read I like to bet out here on the flop. Throw $3.50-$4 out there and find out where you stand.

As played, turn call is mandatory and your river block is creative. I'm guessing villain had KK?

against a straightforward TAG at 25NL you can probably call the flop and c/f the turn knowing you're likely folding the 2nd best hand.
