Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
2nd vote for the season 5 The Shield finale. The scene where Shane kills Lem was just incredibly powerful, and agreed, the final scene with Vic & Kavanaugh & Shane was terribly sad as well.
I also got chocked up for Edgar and the Season 3 Lost Finale. I'm a puss. |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
Some great ones mentioned already...
Of course M.A.S.H: "I have a message: Lt. Col. Henry Blake's plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivors." - stunning moment in TV history. For me another one was NYPD blue, the episode where Andy breaks down and slams 4 shots of whiskey after learning of his son's death. I remember the coordinated each shot with a sad type drum bang... really got to me. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I always cry at that Fresh Bel Air episode, especially when Will hugs uncle Phil. [/ QUOTE ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu_Up...ed&search= I dare anyone not to cry at this. btw, not a rickroll [/ QUOTE ] I made it. Touching, but not quite cry able. [/ QUOTE ] Acting was far too lousy for this to be emotional in the least imo. [/ QUOTE ] If you are talking about Will Smith in this clip I think you are off base. This episode (along with The Six Degrees of Seperation) is really where he makes the leap to a real actor. |

The ER episode when Dr. Green (Anthony Edwards) dies. The whole episode is one long bummer. [/ QUOTE ] Surprised it took until the 4th page for someone to mention this, but it's the first one that comes to mind for me. others: -Scrubs "My Screwup" - Brendan Fraser death episode. -NYPD Blue "Hearts and Souls" - Simone dies. -Sopranos "Funhouse" - For some reason, the show was never the same to me again after Big Pus left. -X-Files "Closure" |

[ QUOTE ] Final episode of The Wonder Years [/ QUOTE ] Oooh...good one. I remember feeling a lump in my throat when you see Kevin and his father sitting at the kitchen table talking to each other. The voiceover was Kevin talking about what happened in the following years, and he mentions that Wayne took over the family business a few years later after their father passed away. For some reason this got to me. Probably because Kevin's father reminded me a lot of my own dad. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I think Jack was a lot of Dads. It could've been a lot sadder if it wasn't cut short though; it was too sudden. Btw I always thought the mom on Boy Meets World was kinda hot. |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
Not the saddest by far (some of the best have been mentioned), but:
Series: 'Enterprise' Episode Title: 'Similitude' Episode Number: 310 Synopsis: "When Trip suffers a catastrophic injury, his only hope for survival is a transplant from a "mimetic simbiot" – a clone – which Phlox grows from one of his exotic creatures. But it's a very troubling solution." When Trip's clone sac's himself at the end, I shed a tear. Brian |
