If someone physically attacks or someone I care about or tries to rob me for a large amount of $. I used to start [censored] if I was in a bad mood and someone said something I didn't agree with but I have gotten over that. Carrying a gun is also a very good way to avoid physical confrontations (don't pull it or anything just flash it and people leave you alone).

Maybe close friends? Eff that! I've been on a few headhunting trips wih a gang of folks because some dude abused some girl we knew. This is easily grounds for a serious ass kicking IMO, even if I barely know the girl.
