Villain is a solid TAG, 19/15/2 over 180 hands. Not sure if I should bet and try to get value from TT/JJ/AQ, or check/call in case I'm behind. Thoughts? Fwiw, I was planning to c/r the turn.

bet like 1/2 pot. if you wanted c/r the turn, why wouldn't you lead here?

for sure bet river, I like slightly less than half the pot so he can call with his 77-JJ/AQ/KQ/QJ. 70-80 looks good. You lose a slight bit of value against AQ/KQ, but make it back and more by the other calls you get.

Alright, in the actual hand I shoved the river. I figured shoving looked more like a bluff than betting something like 80-100. Is this ok?

I dont like it if you're solid 19/15/2 types know this about each other. Neither of you are pushing AK here a lot or viewing it as bluff when the other does it. So bet something smaller. He'll know he's beaten, but call.
