Both the Harrington series and Sklanky's title are great. If I were to pick an order to read them , IMHO, I would go HOH first then Sklansky. Harrington references Sklansky's in his series, so if it is not like they are mutually exclusive, but as others have said HOH is only holdem, Sklansky does reference other games and really goes in depth to some things Harrington does not, and also Sklansky assumes as a base level to a degree, whereas HOH starts from the beginning for the newbie. HOH really branches out to cover ALOT of topics and includes hand examples where you apply the topics from each chapter. You can't go wrong with either. Both are very good and informative.
