"No fruit in beer," is a "man-law" perpetuated by Miller Lite. Miller Lite is perhaps the sorriest excuse for trash beer there is. You derive your opinions on beer drinking from the purveyors of watered down swill.

In fact, a slice of lemon makes any wheat beer more refreshing and cleaner tasting. Every gasthaus in Germany will serve your hefeweizen with a slice of lemon, and I don't think the good folks at Miller can teach the Germans anything about beer.

A slice of lime does the same thing for pretty much any pilsner or lager. Except, of course, Miller Lite, to which you have to add some beer to make it worth drinking.

dude, putting a lemon into a wheat beer is painfully standard. however, sam adams summer ale isn't a wheat beer, so yes his boyfriend ARAH must have sliced it for him:

Except it is a wheat beer?

whoops i stand corrected. i had it mixed up with something else. then lemon is extremely standard. and i meekly withdraw my arah joke.

Whoever said Blue Moon?....That stuff is just.....gross?

you suck at beer.

I just thought the beer tasted really fake and overly flavored with an artificial orange twang. I'm not a big fan of flavored beer, so, I'm sure I'm biased to this offering but seemed like a very girlish "twist" on beer. Just a cloudy, orangey Coors.
By all means, I'm glad you enjoy it though. Just my 2cents.

Sam Summer is very good. My favorite beer of the summer so far, however, is Saranac Pomegranate Wheat. It's got enough hint of pomegranate to be delicious, but it mostly tastes like a beer, so you can still feel like a man. I'm not sure where exactly Saranac is sold though, other than upstate NY.

Sam Adams Double Bock is better than any other Sam Adams beer. No doubt.
