All this makes me wonder when there is a reputable site like Stars with impeccable customer service why in the world anyone would play at FT. The Bot issue aside how many posts have we seen over the last few months with major issues at FT? Negative posts about FT outnumber negative posts about Stars by 20 to 1 if I had to guess.

6. People honestlythink FT owes the accused some kind of evidence/chance for appeal even though they are not involved in dispute, because without some kind of oversight, who's to know for sure they might not be next?

Please explain. Full Tilt made their decision and now the recourse is to file an appeal with the gaming commission. What's the problem?

Edit: You made this statement in the other thread...

[ QUOTE ]
But seriously...I'm pretty sure that anyone who has contacted them has found no satisfaction, if they have even received a reply. If you're looking for real oversight, I don't think these are the guys.

[/ QUOTE ]

Obviously, you know a person/people who have had experience with the gaming commission. What basis do you have for that statement? How are you "pretty sure"?

This really isn't the thread for this conversation....the other one is.

However, I guess I helped get us a little sidetracked here, so I will say a couple of things.

It would seem you stopped reading that thread immediately after my post. Only 2 posts down from mine, Josem was kind enough to provide a couple of good links that more or less confirm what I thought. It's fairly well know that the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is not even close to true oversight, this is nothing but a cop-out by FTP, IMO.

Edit to add: I noticed you seem to have missed part of my quote. Here is the remainder:

I'd be happy to be proven wrong, as (Edit: That should have read "if") you are correct, this would go a long way to solving the problem. If anyone knows of an instance where they actually came to the aid of a player, please provide a link.

[/ QUOTE ]
As I said, I'd be happy to be proven wrong. I notice, however, there hasn't been a positive link yet. Perhaps one is forthcoming, but I'm not holding my breath.

Regardless, hopefully Full Tilt will do as they suggested and give Mike Haven a piece of solid, concrete evidence. It is pretty frustrating that this hasn't been done yet.
