One of the reasons this match happened was because of the fairly new superhigh limits that are now being played in online poker, an online player had the bankroll to challenge a bigtime high limit live player, at limits fairly comparable to what he was used to playing IMO. the online games are getting more comprable to the biggest live games more recently. it will be interesting to see who the best online player is in a year or two from now. i guess aba will likely be the 2007 player of the year in online poker and maybe the biggest winner overall in cash games.

I don't think I'll ever understand why people think it's a good idea playing brian HU reguardless of the setting.

I assume this was holdem not Omaha? (can't imagine a 500K pot in Omaha being won by trips).

BECAUSE ITS LIVE AND THEY HAVE "READS" THAT MAKE UP FOR THEM NOT BEING NEARLY AS GOOD YOU MORAN GOSH!
