Her TV show The Simple Life put her on the map. Her image was established in that show. She just has a unique mix that makes her attractive to many people - she's good-looking, rich, and has the whole "heiress" thing going that gives her kind of a royalty vibe. But somehow, she doesn't
come off as snooty or pompous just becasue she is rich and famous - she's likeable.

Drunk driving stuff is supposedly taken pretty seriously. A sheriff was on the radio yesterday saying that he's seen people collapse with severe asthma attacks, similar charges, and they just pick them up and throw them in a cell. He said he had similar charges going on himself, and even as a cop he couldn't get any leeway.

Ditto. But I'm more on the side of thinking that rich and poor people should get the same justice, and that that's not happening here. I'm not that concerned about the rest, and don't know how smart she is, but for someone with either intelligence or savvy, how can she not know to fill her car with gas when she drives it? She comes off as a major moron in some of the on the street footage. She's also come off as pretty dumb in talk shows. If she's smarter than she looks and acts, she takes pains to hide it.
