Played Thomas Wahlroos and Phil Ivey in the 1500 omaha. Thomas blew $40k on the $5k PLO rebuy event, Phil blew $50k. Thomas also lost $200k playing PLO omaha and chinese poker online the night before. He is a funny dude.
I saw Mel Judah on the phone and I'm 90% sure he was trying to hustle someone into backing him in a few events. Was on the elevator with Robert Varkonyi and I think his feelings were hurt when I didn't acknowledge that I knew who he was. He's staying on the 7th floor, btw. I know ths isn't much, but it is what I've got.

I was railbirding the 25-25 PLO where Davood Mehrmand was up to his usual antics. they were playing with a rock (Basically a straddle that goes to whoever wins the pot) and in this particular hand Davood held the rock so it was his action after everyone limped. The guy to his right in the blind accidentally throws a black chip instead of a green meaning to call and Davood tells him to put the chip back and that he is raising. The guy refuses and Davood has a fit, stands up shouting and demands to see a floorman. Eventually the floorman rules that the guy can just call because there is no action behind and unsurprisingly Davood bets the pot. He has a temper tantrum because his pot raise can only be $500 instead of $650? Someone behind him with AAxx popped it behind it but he ended up chopping the pot after they ran it twice 3 handed. What a retarded angle shoot

Wait so the guy threw in the wrong chip and Davood (oh man you're right it IS a ridiculously funny name) demanded that the guy's action be 'raise'? WTF? Then why did he tell him to put it back?

[/ QUOTE ] I assume "put it back" means that the guy realized he tossed in the wrong chip, and then replaced it with a green one, at which point Davood told him to put the black chip back (in the pot) and take back the green one.
