Default Hand Check--AK

Hand from yesterday. I was about 60 hands into a session, not getting anything what so ever. So my image was super tight, 15% range.

6Max NL 25 at FullTilt
BB: $27.00 (Less than 10 hands at table, so far tight)
UTG: $17.00 (Limps absolutely everything, and calls raises)
Button: Hero $30.00

UTG limps, Hero [AKo]raises to $1.25, BB and UTG limper calls.

Pot is $3.90 (minus whatever the rake is).

Flop: A J 9 rainbow

BB leads for $3.00, UTG folds, whats Hero's move?

I call and then raise the turn

I dont want to scare him away with a raise right now... and the board isnt too dangerous, ya possible str8 draw but i think that is unlikely

Any other thoughts on this hand? I actually think this is a common situation and personally I think the board is dangerous. I am seeing maybe 3 hands that might do this that I am ahead of? Q10, AQ, A10?

I raise it to $10-11 and fold if he shoves.
