Re: Carpal/Tunnel Post: Control
great post . . . moderation in all things!
I was really intrigued by misanthrope's reply which I also have felt works better for me. I've felt some internal and external pressure because of a solid win rate at 200NL over nearly 500K hands to move up. I've played some 400NL and now probably play about 15% 400NL and 85% 200NL. This works for me so I can cherry pick the sweetest tables at the 2 limits and won't play the 400NL table unless it's really sweet. I've eased that pressure off of myself to move up because my friends moved up even though they make less than me. I would like to hear more on people's comfort levels and the reasons to move up (maybe aside from profit though profit is important) and the reasons to stay at a level you crush. |

Re: Carpal/Tunnel Post: Control
great post on an integral aspect of poker that people constantly marginalize and overlook.

Re: Carpal/Tunnel Post: Control
Good post.
So how many hands a month can you guys generally get in to still avoid burnout? I cannot very many; I have a pretty stressful day job and I've burned out and taken a 1.5 month break from poker already. |
