$20 bubble decision

Big stack had been protecting his stack for the last few minutes. When he made a pot-sized bet on the flop, I felt that he might have a weak ace. I believed that if he had a monster hand he would have checked or bet less and that if he had a big ace he probably would have raised pre-flop.

With the presence of two short stacks, I considered just calling his bet with the nut flush draw and 3 - 7's that might be good. I was getting 2:1 pot odds on the call and my draw was about 1.5:1. However, he had been playing so tight shorthanded that I thought he might fold if I reraised all-in. In hindsight, I didn't have enough chips to make a full pot-sized raise and then when I did reraise I gave him 3:1 pot odds. Also, his flop bet probably pot committed him and I didn't consider this when I reraised all-in.

Any input would be appreciated.

I wouldn't raise prf. You don't need to risk chips with a weak Ace. And Flop is a fold for me.

I would have just checked along preflop. Then, assuming he bets a more reasonable amount after the flop, you could probably give it a call and see if you can hit your flush and maybe stack him. If he still bets an unreasonable amount after the flop, you gotta fold.

With the button so short this is reckless. I call preflop. Notice if you had called pf you could then reraise without going all in and really known where you were at.

If he is playing tight shorthanded then his potsized bet when you showed strength preflop should mean something. Flop should be an easy fold. He's scared of the draw and not the ace, so I'd bet he has two pair minimum.

hardly ever 2 pair here, hes not calling pf with a3/a6/63 your a 46/52 dog to AK here which is far more likly.
however button is ridiculously short stacked here. go CANNOT go broke here and let him squirm itm

Check preflop then c/c flop.

Controlling the size of the pot is the only thing you have to think of.
