300-ish on the turn isn't horrible, just so you aren't letting them peel off free cards.

im semi tempted to call this riv bet, hes making it with a 7 or a bluff , if he has a bigger hand would he not make more of a value bet? also nobody has shown strenth in the hand and i disregard a K as he would have surly bet the turn

It certainly looks like your ahead on the turn most of the time. Would it be so bad to put it to the test by betting?

People please look at the notice Durron posted the other day. Put the buyin in the title. This is now in 2 stickies, do it! Ok, I'll edit your title though.

Anyway, I wouldn't hate betting the turn and as played I like the fold.

Small kicker would prevent me from betting the turn.
You could block bet the river for t200.
As Played I think that you are not ahead here often enough to make a pot sized call profitable on the river.

I play it exactly the same way.

bet
the
turn
omg

reasons:

-you hold a jack, so it's unlikely anyone else has a jack
-you can still charge draws
-it's very unlikely someone is slowplaying here, considering board setup (55/K9 are only monsters possible)
-toppair hands will have bet the flop almost always (unless you have specific reads)
-it's very unlikely someone will make a big move this close to the money

bet 350, if called you obviously don't bet the river and you re-evaluate there if he bets. If raised you obviously fold even if it's a [censored] minraise.

as played: fold river -> every draw got there

Bottom line:
You do not wish to get value out of a jack on that turn (unless vs draws) but you want to take the pot down as it's a reasonable pot and you will take it down a lot of the time because of the reasons I gave above.
