Default $22 - Is this a good push?

Full Tilt Poker Game #2602650131: $20 + $2 Sit & Go (19839627), Table 1 - 60/120 - No Limit Hold'em - 2:40:45 ET - 2007/06/07
Seat 1: Whacko (3,055)
Seat 5: jc jam man (1,624)
Seat 6: skopivy (2,470)
Seat 7: HERO (900)
Seat 8: Willach (2,904)
Seat 9: XTOL (2,547)
XTOL posts the small blind of 60
Whacko posts the big blind of 120
The button is in seat #8
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [6d Ks]
jc jam man folds
skopivy folds
HERO raises to 900, and is all

Given that Whacko has been very reckless and loose, is this the correct move? Should hero wait for a better spot?

If he's reckless and loose, it's more likely that he'll call and against your marginal holding = best case scenario of a 60:40. I'd wait.

With almost 8BB's how does KTs+, KJo+ look for a pushing range?

I want to thank everyone for their advice. Everyone's suggestions make alot of sense, and I'll add this info to my arsenal of situational decisions.

By the way, the hand ended with the BB calling with A2, and the A2 held up.

I'm very new to the whole posting thing, even though I did try it a few months back. I've posted here and on AP and I notice that 2 + 2 really provides a great community feel, which is especially awesome when your immediate circle of friends are only casual poker players without much insight to the game.

Remember to put the buyin $ in the subject so that your post will get more views and won't get locked and convert your hand so that your post gets more replys and wont get locked.

easy fold, given BB read I'd say you want to be pushing pairs or at least A9.
