LOL at betting the river. hes not calling the turn to fold a blank river, especially when its fairly unbelievable you have a king.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol ? He could easily fold river here. Pls explain why it is unbelievable that he has a K.

he can def call with wuith JT QT because he might be ahead/has outs, and decide to pitch it on the river.

I'd been really quite tight at this table. I'd taken a few down preflop but hadn't really played any post flop hands beyond a simple continuation bet. Villain should have no reason to suspect a lag.

...but I'm generally very tight in SB and like to let the BB know that I'm not going to just auto-fold any non-premuim hand to him all of the time.

Villain is 19/10/1.5 (290) and whilst I've not shown a hand down at this table I've not been very active so he should have no reason to suspect I'll get out of line.

I like the way you played it if what is quoted is true. That is an oftly thin call if your table image is what you believe it to be...but something tells me he had reason to believe your willing to get out of line to defend your preflop raise

I think - in hindsight - the clue is in his stats. He's borderline passive suggesting he likes to look up a few more bets than he perhaps should. Yes/no?

Trying to rep trips in a blind battle probably isn't a good idea.

good hand, i think passive means more that he doesnt raise a king on the turn than that he looks up too many bets but both contribute to a low AF imo
