Interesting hand where I flop broadway
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 5 players Villain has $6 I cover UTG: $06 Button: $27 Hero: $45 BB: $53 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $0.4, BB folds, CO calls. Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($0.9, 2 players) Hero bets $0.6, CO calls. Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.1, 2 players) Hero bets $1.5, CO calls. River: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($5.1, 2 players) I want to post this because I find it interesting. I am obv. 100% good on the flop. The turn makes the hand weird. Once I bet the turn he either has the K as well or a flush draw or a set. If he has the K I think he may raise the turn so I feel he either has the draw or the set. Once the river comes down it doesn't make any sense for me to bet. Or does it? at these stakes is a river bet +ev here? Is he going to call with a set or two pair? What if I check and he shoves? Is a shove call profitable? Obv. best case scenario is check call a small bet. |
