Default Re: OFFICIAL MULTITABLING THREAD

There was a thread a ways back that had screenshots of the 24 and 30 in monitors, wonder if anyone can post one. I am trying to decide between the two. Want to be able to 8-10 table and still be able to see stacks-which I cant very well at the smallest size on a 20 in at 1600/1200.
Thanks.

Theirs no limit to sngs, as I've said ive played 42 once on stars. Gank and rainkhan have played 45 or so at once.

Stars has a 12 table limit on cash games though.

If anyone wants a 25 table sng session contest im up for it...

25 is quite insane. I tried 15 today and barely couldn't keep up. I'm curious to try 25 whenever I have enough of a roll to substain an downswing of 10 buyins without me going nuts (I play 6,5 atm so there's no moving down to goof for me)

Theme: Hyper-Simple with standard deck
Tables: 15-20, depending on how much I can concentrate
Scripts/etc: I use an AHK script and TableNavigator to program all the commands into a joystick, so when play, it's kinda like a videogame

[/ QUOTE ]

What does the TableNavigator software do? Is this in the FAQ? And how do you type in specific bet amounts using the joystick (like say 350?).

One thing I've been wondering about the AHK script, is do you have to do a lot of debugging/fixing the code every time that Stars does a software update?

For all those unfamiliar with "scripts" and how they might help you multi-table, alot if this information you can get by going to:

http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/AutoHotKey

I currently play 8-10 tables-(Cascaded)-mouseless, using the following scripts:

Betpot.ahk (latest version)
functions.ahk (use search command in the software forum)
autoreg.ahk (use search command in software forum)
starsurgenttable.ahk (latest version)

A description of what these all do can be found on the link above. some are pretty self explanatory.

You can modify the betpot.ahk to your liking. I have it configured so that:

SHIFT: Call or check
CTRL: fold
Right Click: 1, .75, .66, .66 (Bet sizes in relation to pot / betting round PF, Flop, Turn, River)
Left Click: .9, .5, .66, .66 (These can be configured however you want)
Middle button: All-in or 999999 (you still have to click the bet button)(I don't use the mouse so I drag the cursor on my laptop; I don't mind this)..but, I play in sets and so I might have at most like 5 tables where I'm basically push/fold mode

Also, since the urgent table script has autotimebank built-in that really helps.

I think that's it..

Oh..download Autohotkey first..then all you have to do is unzip the files into one folder and double click on them and an "H" should appear on your system tray.

As for fixing the bugs after updates..it's usually done pretty quickly by the person or persons who published the script originally..

Hope this helpful.

P.S. I would take the time to read the threads over at the "software" forum regarding each script, because a lot of the requests for minor modifications that don't get implemented in the final version are still pretty good..

Party sng helper is an absoulute must for party multitablers. I honestly don't think i could 4+ table on party without it.

When I multitable on Full Tilt and minimize anywhere past the default, my PA HUD becomes unusable. Does anyone know how to fix this so the stats stay in line?

Hmmm ask space, i know he has played 25ish. According to stars there is no limit as such, i think it basically when you computer gives up the ghost.

Fwiw this kid is almost certainly talking bs.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, that was an inside joke. The "boney kid" is 2+2 poster bones who is one one of the better SNG players ever and has the distinction of winning the toughest SNG ever played.

The most hard-core multitablers seem to be able to break even at low stakes somewhere in the mid to high twenties. Raptor (another elite-level former SNG player and the guy who basically invented massive multitabling) was playing 20 55s and not losing IIRC.
