Tipping Dealers at WSOP
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I have a quick question. Now that the WSOP is explicitly stating what percentage of each tournament's prize pool is being withheld for the dealers, is it widely accepted by all that players don't need to tip at all, or are dealers going to whine and moan if they don't get tipped?

Re: Tipping Dealers at WSOP
I think $100 from the winner to the dealer who delt the final hand would be plenty generous, but no one should feel obligated. It's just like going to a restaurant and having tip included cause there are 8 people in your group, I hate that...

I 'm not saying its unreasonable to not tip dealers who you feel don't deserve it, but you have to see that thethis creates a circle. Experienced Dealers decide its not worth the aggravation because they aren't making enough money.he dealing spots have to be filled so they get break in dealers. The dealers aren't competent so players tip less, now the compensation goes down and experienced dealers have less reason to come back. Its not all about the players tipping at the tournaments, its got a lot to do with Harrah's management. |

I am all for giving an extra tip if a particular dealer was exceptional and I always tip in ring games, but they are taking a cut out of the prize pool automatically, why should I give above that for average service? |

[/ QUOTE ] Can all the cheap bastards who hate tipping just wear a sign on their shirt that says so? That way, those of us who do tip will get better service and you'll get the level of service you deserve. |

Re: Tipping Dealers at WSOP
I think this is a valid question. The dealers already take a cut. Now if you win a six figure prize, are you really going to give up 10% of that?

If I win the ME, how much should I tip the dealers.
