LOL at all of you saying: "LOL at offering them money".

99% of you would have done the same exact thing. $400 isn't alot of money to some people and maybe it was worth it to Beetz to spend $400 just to be rid of any future time spent/headache on this ridiculousness.

I have started refusing payment of parking tickets, and it actually has worked very well recently. All you have to do is write a letter, when the debt collectors call you just say that you wrote a letter, they made a mistake, and you arent paying. Saved me a lot of money surprisingly.

If you actually have had a Complaint filed against you, you would know it. It would have been served to you via certified mail by now.

Check the statute of limitations on this type of action in your jurisdiction. There's a good chance it has already passed.

Regardless, you probably don't have anything to worry about.

I'm pretty sure you have at least 2 years in Cali to file suit for an auto accident.

Why are cab drivers often such sleaze bags?

In front of my building they park their cabs 6 feet from the curb and I have to tell them that this is not so safe if little kids are running around. They seem so selfish, I often feel like I should never tip them.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know. Everytime I want to refute this stereotype I come up blank.

Actually where I live most of them are pretty decent people. They are some of filthiest slobs you'll ever meet though.
