Default Do I bet on the river for value?

Villian in the BB is a pretty passive player who plays his strong hands fast but calling down a wide range of holdings. I do not put him on a 3 or on a set that filled up on turn or river since he would bet those. Do I bet on the river? If so, which hands are calling? Does a bet turn my hand into a bluff? Is a check appropriate.

Your raise preflop seems a bit excessive. Was that the standard raise at the table? As played, I would just shove the river. I would like to make a bit smaller bet, but since the pot is twice the size of this guy's remaining stack, shoving is right. The hands I would put him on are AT, KT, KK, QQ, JJ, or some random 3, with AT being the most likely. I don't play these stakes, but is just calling something like KK usual? A lot of new players always worry that their KK is an ace magnet so they don't put a lot in preflop.

Preflop is too big. Raising to $1 is enough.

As played, push river.

There were two forced blinds/ new players to the table, therefore my raise to 1.75

Raise more on turn, make it 3x bet. As played I think checking behind isn't bad. If he has a 3 he won't fold anyway and worse hands may fold...
