Event 25 2k NLHE.....

Going to LV for first time next week and I want to play in the 2k NLHE on the 15th - can anyone answer a few Qs...
Can I buy in on the morning of the event? or could if be full?
Can I prebook it now before I go (Im in England)?
Any other tips that may help with a noob to LV? (<<<Obv not 'dont eat yellow snow', 'dont bluff a station' etc.....)

If I held 2 7spades in a raised flop and betting was strong to the turn, with the brd 8910A all hearts then would that change your mind??
