QQ w/ overcards on board
I tend to be afraid of overcards to my PP. Probably because I'm weak-tight.
4/8 Live FR The villain is extremely loose and passive. I have seen her call flop and turn bets with no pair and no overcard. My hand: QQ in MP. Preflop: Average player to my right limps. I raise. Villain calls from button and limper calls. Flop (6 SB): K 5 5 rainbow I bet. Villain calls and limper folds. Turn (4 BB): A I'm usually more afraid of the Ace than the King because so many of these loose passive players call with any Ace. But, given the hands I had seen this player call with I decided to bet/fold. What do you guys think? |

Re: QQ w/ overcards on board
With the villain calling bets with nothing, that should be all the more reason to bet, bet, bet.
I would be surprised to see a raise out of someone that is as you describe unless they had a serious hand, so I don't hate bet/folding. Getting 1:7 on a b/c when it's back to you, I think calling the raise and then having to call another on the river is too small. There's no way I'm willing to check this turn, so it looks like b/f is the line to take. If no raise, bet again on river. On the river I'm more tempted to call a raise, but I still think I'm folding it. |

Re: QQ w/ overcards on board
It's thin, but you still can get value from GS draws and PPs on the turn.
