2.75, bottom 2
The CL seems to be a pretty big station. Shove river?

Re: 2.75, bottom 2
No, I don't think I shove the river against a calling station. In these micro MTT's the passive calling station probably caught a piece of the flop or is on a draw and is going to hang around hoping to catch, or else not believe your aggression.
What would a passive, calling station limp behind with? Ax or Axs, suited connectors, pocket pairs? And what likely holdings would he flat you with? Flop is showing no obv draws, so my guess is, he's gonna hang around with Ax or 56 or 67 suited. I think I check raise the flop or if I bet it, I make a pot sized bet. On the turn, I'm going to probably fire again with a pot-sized bet. In this spot, geez this is tough, but I'm hating a check fold. If he's that passive, not prone to aggression, maybe try a smallish blocking bet and hope he doesn't pop you. If he does, you have a decision based on how much he hits you for. But if you lay it down, you still have a stack to work with. |
